Cufflinks and Cages December update!


Big news!

Cufflinks and Cages is now out of Early Access.

This is really exciting for us here at THM, as Each of our three games on Steam have been constructed in different ways as a learning experience to see what our fans prefer. Cufflinks and Cages had a little bit of a rocky launch, because the calendar system made it a little hard to understand if you were progressing, and taking on that feedback we've added a few systems to help you know how far you've travelled into the game, like the milestone system, or the post-it notes. For this version we've also added an image gallery!

We came into this project with a specific vision, we were aiming for a particular game length, and with the help of some additional writers, we managed to keep the initial development time short.

What does this mean for Cufflinks and Cages?

Well the initial, intended plot is now completed, Dani will run through her days at the office until inevitably choosing between Tatiana and Sofia, and we get to see the beginning of what that might look like. Which means the game's story has a completed arc, but we can still add more to it!

Cufflinks and Cages won't be receiving small, monthly updates as usual, it will instead receive updates more infrequently. The game is currently very wide, with lots of different paths to find yourself on, and currently sits at 3.1k lines of dialogue, and we will expand on this in the future, but it will be after we see how our first game leaving early access goes. (So wish us luck!)
